How can I book a room?
Booking a room with us is simple, you can either visit our website or through our Google My Business page. Both options take you directly to booking and are easy to navigate, a range of images of our rooms are available too.
Is parking available?
A days parking permit is available for only £8 which is located just outside of the building. It is close to the Hoe Park and the Royal Citadel, so the permit is amazing value for money. There is parking in the vicinity if you would like an alternative option.
When can I check in?
Guests can check in with us at any point between 2pm and 10pm on the day of their arrival. We then ask you to leave the room anywhere between 10am-10:30am of your departure day.
What time is breakfast available from?
On weekdays, our delicious breakfast is served between 7am and 9am. Then on the weekends and bank holidays, we serve breakfast between 8:30am and 9:30am. We have a wide range of options available to guests.
Do you charge for cancellations?
If any cancellations or changes to a booking are made before 12am on the day before your arrival, no charges will be made to you. However, any time after that we will unfortunately have to charge for the first night of any rooms you have booked with us. If you do not show up without contacting us in any way beforehand, you will be charged for the full stay. We are sorry to say that we can’t make any exceptions for bad weather, health issues or transport failures.
What attractions are close to the guest house?
There are many attractions located close to Jewells Guest House such as The Pavilions, Theatre Royal, The Eden Project and of course the Plymouth Hoe. If you’re looking for a great place to shop, Drake Circus Shopping Centre has over 60 stores and is also close by. For more information on what you can visit while staying with us, go to our website.
How close are you to Plymouth city centre?
We are only a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk away from the city centre, so we are clearly in a very convenient spot! You can take a slight detour on your way by walking through the Hoe Park on your way and visiting the Smeaton’s Tower.
How close are you to Plymouth Hoe?
Plymouth Hoe is no more than a 10-minute walk away from the guest house and a scenic walk at that. This is a lovely trip to make after enjoying one of our amazing breakfasts and is a great way to start your day.
Do you offer vegetarian breakfast options?
Upon request, we do offer a vegetarian alternative for our breakfasts. Please let us know as soon as you can about certain dietary requirements you have so we can provide the best options for you.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
